I had my more advanced classes fill out a questionnaire to help me get to know them better. Doing this activity was an eye opener for me; students who I did not expect to take the execise seriously were often the ones most diligently answering the questions. And some of their responses are thought provoking. Below is a selection of their answers to the question: If you could ask God one question, what would it be?
Grade 7 Responses Grade 8 Responses
- I would ask God when Palestine will be free - Ask God to bless us
- Where God comes from? - Do you see us?
- When is the time of my death? - Why is the life not beautiful?
Grade 9 Responses Grade 10 Responses
- Can I go to you? - When will the world end?
- Do you love me? - What do you want to do with me?
- Ask God to forgive us - Why is there war in the world?
- For freedom - Can you take me to you?
- What will happen after death? - Why did you take my grandmother?
- What does heaven look like? - Is there a real heaven and hell?
- For peace and to remove all wars between countries - Why do we have people living their life
harder than others?
